When I was attracted by the field of management, I engaged in a marketing competition with friends whom I met in military. The competition was sponsored by Korea Tomorrow and Global, which is formerly Korea Tabacco and Ginseng owned by the government.
The subject was building marketing strategy for KT&G’s online community. We offered four main marketing themes including TV advertisement of which the story was relayed by audiences’ idea. At the open and competitive final presentation, we won the gold prize.
12 teams were selected as finalists, and I was presenter of my team. I had not that much experience in presentation in front of a large audience. I prepared somewhat bold speaking scenario, but friends told me that my presentation was quite persuasive. This experience helped me grow significantly as a presenter.
