Seoul Science High School

I think that the high school years were the starting point of my social life. Seoul Science High School is established in 1989 to socially raise the gifted students in mathematics and science fields. I could meet congenial friends who also gave me intellectual challenges actually for the first time.

Thanks to the dormitory system, we could have an opportunity to discuss several issues not only on the scientific matters but also on the social, political and economical matters. Such discussions during adolescence, even though some of them was quite indecent in the present perspective, helped me mentally grow.
