I assumed student president in my third year at the high school. I already had participated student council activity since the second year. I initiated intramural flea market for and by students. The profit, although it is not that large amount, was donated to a social service organization.
As a president, I conducted the Grand Student Open Forum held once a year. I collected students’ oppinion on school affair and took them to the principal.
While assuming the president position, I realized what the responsibility of leaders is. Although I took class monitor during middle school years, high school president job taught me the leader’s concern for the first time, I think.
